Position Summary
The Staff Accountant (Limited Term – 6 months) supports the accuracy, timeliness, and reliability of Panorama Global’s financial operations. This role provides flexible accounting support across the Finance department, assisting with General Accounting, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and other core accounting activities as workload demands shift.
This role provides short-term operational accounting support to help maintain continuity of finance operations during a limited-term staffing need.
This position serves as a general accounting support role, helping to maintain day-to-day financial operations while providing coverage across multiple accounting functions. Responsibilities may shift across accounting areas depending on departmental priorities and operational needs. The Staff Accountant works closely with the Accounting Manager and may assist with a variety of operational accounting needs depending on departmental priorities.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable managing recurring tasks while quickly learning new processes. This role requires someone who can adapt to changing priorities and work across multiple accounting areas while maintaining strong attention to detail and adherence to internal control, documentation, and approval standards.
The Staff Accountant collaborates with other members of the Finance team to maintain accurate financial records, ensure compliance with policies, and support smooth operational workflows. This is a non-exempt, limited-term, full-time position reporting to the Accounting Manager. This position is hybrid for Seattle-based candidates and fully remote for those outside Seattle.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Accounts Receivable Support
- Assist with preparing and recording invoices and incoming payments.
- Support tracking of receivables and follow-up on outstanding balances as directed.
- Maintain accurate documentation for receivable transactions and supporting records.
- Provide support to accounts payable processes as needed, in accordance with organizational policies and approval workflows.
- Assist with payment preparation activities, including ACH, wire transfers, and checks, as directed.
- Assist with vendor record maintenance, including vendor onboarding and updates.
- Respond to inquiries related to payments, invoice status, and vendor setup when providing backup coverage for accounts payable activities.
- Assist in identifying and resolving discrepancies in invoices, coding, approvals, or documentation.
- Work within financial systems such as Sage Intacct, Certify, Salesforce, and banking platforms to process and review financial transactions.
- Assist with process documentation, workflow improvements, and data cleanup initiatives.
- Provide flexible support across accounting functions, aligned with departmental priorities and workload needs.
- Responding to internal inquiries regarding financial transactions and documentation requirements.
- Provide backup coverage for accounting processes as needed.
- Support ad hoc projects and operational improvements within the Finance department.
- Assist with account reconciliations and review of transactions for accuracy and completeness.
- Support month-end close activities, including preparation of supporting schedules and documentation.
- Maintain organized financial records and documentation within organizational systems.
- Assist with tracking financial activity across projects, departments, or cost centers.
- Apply judgment and attention to detail when reviewing submissions, escalating issues appropriately when items do not meet policy, documentation, or approval requirements.
- Manage personal workload, inbox, and deadlines effectively.
- Provide backup for other finance team functions as needed.
- Contribute to efficiency initiatives and uphold Panorama’s financial policies.
- Ad hoc projects as needed.
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree or higher in Finance or Accounting or equivalent experience preferred.
- 2–4 years of accounting, bookkeeping, or finance operations experience.
- Experience working with ERP systems such as Sage Intacct or similar accounting platforms.
- Experience supporting month-end close or financial reconciliations.
- Experience working in nonprofit or project-based accounting environments.
- Experience working with multiple entities is a plus.
- Familiarity with financial systems such as expense management tools, ticketing systems, or CRM platforms (e.g., Certify, Salesforce).
- Demonstrated ability to work across multiple accounting functions and adapt to shifting operational needs.

Compensation & Benefits
The starting salary for this role is between $60,000 and $70,000, which represents the minimum to the midpoint of the salary band for this position. When determining an initial offer, we carefully consider these factors: the candidate's skills and experience; room for growth within the band; and internal equity across the team.
