Position Summary
Our dynamic team at Panorama seeks a Salesforce Administrator to contribute to the smooth functioning and efficiency of our organization in a time of change and growth. We are looking for a detail-oriented, tech-savvy problem solver who values being part of a team.
The Salesforce Administrator will be part of the Business Strategy and Operations team and work collaboratively to identify, implement, and manage systems and processes in our CRM platform. Working with stakeholders across the organization, this new position will play a vital role in helping the organization function smoothly and efficiently in achieving Panorama’s mission.
This position reports to the Senior Business Systems & Operations Manager. The role is hybrid for Seattle-based candidates and fully remote within the U.S. for those outside Seattle.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Salesforce Administration
- Serve as a primary system administrator for our Salesforce environment with 60 internal users and 50+ Experience Cloud users.
- Work alongside the Business Strategy and Operations team; leading the scoping and execution of Salesforce configuration.
- Handle all basic administrative functions including user account maintenance, reports and dashboards, flows, 3rd party applications and integrations, permissions, and other routine tasks.
- Generate standard reports and work through team collaboration to make reporting functions more accessible to users.
- Assist in training new users, and grow the Salesforce skillset across the organization, including creating and maintaining training materials.
- Serve as a thought partner on Salesforce for complex projects and build outs based on internal team and partner requirements
- Work independently with team members across the organization to proactively define and document development requirements to better meet the team’s needs.
- Maintain updated documentation of processes and procedures for our Salesforce applications and uses.
- Refresh sandbox environments as well as test and deploy updates from sandbox environment to production.
- Establish Salesforce best practices to ensure efficient processes, data integrity, and system optimization, while staying current with Salesforce updates to leverage new features and enhance organizational impact.
- Bring fresh ideas and insights to improve our Salesforce environment, ensuring it aligns with industry standards and supports our organizational objectives/goals.
Data Quality and Assurance
- Maintain intentional naming conventions with reporting and field names.
- Support with data request assistance, including but not limited to running complex/multiple reports to answer critical questions.
- Monitor data quality and maintain data integrity and accuracy, including regular internal audits, record cleansing, duplicate record management, and monthly backups.
- Test the system changes of other Salesforce Administrators to proactively find bugs.
- Identify and effectively communicate opportunities for the improvement of data quality.
- Lead data hygiene efforts to deduplicate our instance, merging records where needed.
- Use Validity as data loader for mass uploads and edits of records.

- As needed, provide timely inputs for co-design and development of initiatives, proposals, briefings/debriefs, reports, and knowledge sharing efforts.
- Provide required timely and accurate recording of data and other information via Harvest, Salesforce, Lattice, SharePoint, and Certify.
- Participate in Learning & Development opportunities.
- May manage Interns, ensuring Panorama’s performance management concepts are upheld, and supporting their professional development and learning.
Typical Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Minimum of 5+ years of Salesforce experience, ideally in the nonprofit sector.
- Certified Salesforce Administrator or equivalent experience including NPSP, Outbound Funds, Salesforce Grants Management, Flow/Process Builder, Experience Cloud, SSO, Apsona.
- Experience with Salesforce third party apps and integrations, particularly for email marketing and DLRS.
- Experience working directly with end users and translating technical requirements for non- technical stakeholders.
- Ability to think critically and solve problems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team and produce creative solutions.
- Experience balancing competing priorities, adapting to changing deadlines or priorities, and identifying when to escalate an issue.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication (written and oral) skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion and Panorama’s values.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- Comfortable working with highly customized Salesforce environments, with complex data models and integrations.
- Passionate about data, reporting, and automation.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Tableau, Microsoft 365 and Asana, and knowledge of software integration tools like Zapier.
- Bachelor Degree desired but not required.
- Additional language proficiencies welcomed.

Compensation & Benefits
The starting salary for this non-exempt, full-time role is between $68,000 and $79,000. When determining an initial offer, we carefully consider these factors: candidate skills and experience room for growth within the band and internal equity across the team.
Alongside salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package including:
- Hybrid work arrangement for Seattle-based employees; remote work arrangement for all other US-based locations.
