Panorama Strategy
Panorama Strategy is a consulting firm that partners with organizations and leaders to turn their vision for social impact into reality. In the lifecycle from ideation to impact, we collaborate with our clients to identify and fulfill their unique role in creating a better world, and take a tailored, systems-thinking approach to connect them to the big picture while helping navigate day-to-day challenges.
This role is part of Panorama Strategy, our consulting arm, which works directly with clients on strategy and execution, which is distinct from Panorama Global, our nonprofit entity focused on programs and partnerships.
Position Summary
We are seeking a Program Associate (PA) to support client-facing strategy engagements across key issue areas such as global health, gender equity, philanthropic giving, and climate change. This is an execution-focused consulting role designed for someone who is excited to learn, contribute, and grow. You will work closely with senior staff to support research and analysis, draft and organize components of deliverables, track progress and next steps, and assist with stakeholder engagement processes.
Success in this role comes from being highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and from taking ownership of the coordination and hands-on work that supports senior staff and keeps complex projects moving forward. This is a critical support role that ensures high-quality work gets done efficiently and on time.
Examples of the types of projects this role may support include:
- Advancing a high‑impact global health grant program by supporting background research on grantee portfolios, preparing materials for funder and grantee meetings, tracking timelines and action items, and synthesizing key inputs to help senior staff assess progress and risks
- Supporting donor and ecosystem landscape scans by conducting desk research and drafting discrete deliverables that help foundations understand where and how to make targeted investments in areas such as social entrepreneurship, gender equity, or climate resilience
- Contributing to philanthropic strategy development focused on challenges like childhood malnutrition by helping compile evidence, organize inputs, and draft components of deliverables for senior team review
- Supporting multi‑stakeholder initiatives and funder collaboratives by assisting with meeting coordination, preparing agendas and background materials, and organizing follow‑up actions to keep complex collaborations moving forward
- Assisting advocacy strategy efforts on issues such as pandemic preparedness or climate health by organizing research, tracking stakeholder inputs, preparing internal summaries, and supporting the development of materials used to inform policy and funding discussions
Across these engagements, Program Associates work closely with Program Officers and senior staff to ensure complex, high‑stakes work is well‑researched, well‑organized, and executed with care.
This exempt, full-time position reports to a Senior Program Officer and must be based in Washington, DC. Beginning in 2027, once the local Panorama office is established, employees are expected to work in the office four days per week.
