Position Summary

We are seeking a Project Manager for Business Development with strong project management and communications skills and experience working with relationship management software to track and interpret data to inform business development decisions. This role will support data collection and information management throughout the business development lifecycle as well as provide critical project management support for the Partnerships Team’s annual strategic framework to ensure progress towards critical milestones. This role will be critical in strengthening organizational tools and processes to ensure effective and smooth implementation for new opportunities and initiatives and will serve as a key team member on projects with an approach that is highly organized, detail-oriented, and collaborative.
This exempt position reports to the Senior Officer, Partnerships and is fully remote, based within the United States.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Business Development & Knowledge Management Support
Collaborate on the development and implementation of core business development practices, tools, and resources that support partner relationship management, including:
Data entry and record keeping and management in Salesforce.
Deciphering and distilling notes from key business development lead reports.
Identifying connections across relationships, facilitating information sharing between team members, and recommending follow up or outreach.
Lead on managing and updating content for the enterprise proposal content library and support the creation, maintenance, and tailoring of core business development documents.
Collaborate across departments to document/update business development processes and best practices.
As needed, provide timely inputs for proposals, briefings/debriefs, reports, and knowledge sharing efforts.
Support and lead on development of resources for outreach, including lists, draft materials, and process documents.
Support engagement and communication with internal stakeholders to support their business development portfolios by coordinating, planning, and tracking activities.
Support building a more robust business development pipeline through prospecting new business opportunities through research, reviewing philanthropic news and lists for open RFPs, and other information gathering for data analysis and background documents.
Lead role in systems use and support team, acting as a resource and troubleshooting when necessary.
Maintain and update program documentation and resources, including program SharePoint folder(s) and resources on any other information sharing platform.
Program Administration and Support
Assist in the development and maintenance of workplans, roadmaps, and project management tools to support project teams and ensure quality outcomes.
Maintain strong attention to detail to meet department and organizational strategic objectives and support tracking and collection of internal project measures.
Provide process leadership and support across a matrixed environment, identifying and implementing improved processes and knowledge management strategies for smoother operations.
Support in creating and/or copy editing a variety of materials, including but not limited to, proposals, PowerPoint presentations, emails, and research briefs.
Support internal and external meeting logistics and communications, provide pre-reads and briefs, annotate and disseminate follow-up materials as needed.
Coordinate and schedule internal and external meetings on behalf of team members, as needed.

Organizational Engagement & Participation
Represent Panorama Global as an organizational brand ambassador and articulate our work and value proposition with external organizations and stakeholders.
Contribute to opportunities for process improvement and service/practice strengthening towards evolving our platform for social change.
Participate in Learning & Development opportunities and other training sessions.
Provide required timely and accurate recording of data and other information via systems including Harvest, Salesforce, Lattice, SharePoint, and Certify.
May manage Interns, ensuring Panorama’s performance management concepts are upheld, and supporting their professional development and learning.
Typical Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Bachelor’s degree and at least five years of work experience, or equivalent through work experience.
Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment – often with conflicting priorities – and managing multiple stakeholders while ensuring high quality deliverables and strong relationships management.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in the English language.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and willingness to learn other software programs such as Salesforce and Asana.
Proactive with ability to accomplish work efficiently and with initiative.

Desired Qualifications
Documented history of detail-oriented project management experience, including responsibilities of managing a project or program from conception to implementation.
Experience working in philanthropy, at a non-profit, and/or on social impact issues is a plus.
Working knowledge of Salesforce or similar customer relationship management (CRM) database and project management tools
Ability to make decisions that are within the scope of the job’s responsibilities and asking for input, support, and/or guidance when needed.
Experience balancing competing priorities and identifying when to escalate an issue or request help re-prioritizing.
Adaptability, comfortable navigating ambiguity, and willingness to flex and take on new responsibilities as needed.
Astute observer and critical thinker in identifying how to manage projects efficiently, troubleshoot, and opportunities to implement efficiencies.
Team-oriented, and skilled in collaboration, clear communication, and cultural awareness.
Excited about solving problems and continuous learning

Compensation & Benefits
The starting salary for this role is between $68,000 and $79,000. When determining an initial offer, we carefully consider these factors: candidate skill and experience; room for growth within the band; and internal equity across the team.
